What the project involved:
The Intra-ACP [African, Caribbean, Pacific Group of States] Climate Services and Related Applications project is sponsored by the European Union and managed by the WMO. PSS will conduct assessments for the Pacific SIDS Region which involves identifying priorities for key climate affected sectors which may include GFCS priority sectors for water, agriculture, health, energy and disaster risk management in 15 Pacific SIDS. This assessment will be the starting point for policy and development documents that inform the development of climate services products that address regional sectoral needs.
